An excellent year ends for the people of Vallarta and in general for the inhabitants of the region whose livelihood depends directly or indirectly on tourism. A series of activities were carried out that put us on the tourist map as one of the best destinations in the world: the Mexican Golf Open was held at the Vidanta facilities; The 27th International Gourmet Festival has just concluded; the local authorities held an endless number of activities that were very successful among locals and visitors, such as the exhibition of Catrinas on the Malec\u00f3n; sports and nautical events that further strengthen the solid reputation of Puerto Vallarta and Bahia de Banderas as one of the most beautiful, desirable and safe places to visit or live on the entire Pacific coast.<\/p>\n
2023 is presented with even more rosy prospects, but there are challenges that we must overcome: it is urgent to improve the infrastructure and services of the city and the entire region. Growth must be sustainable, sustained, responsible and without jeopardizing the future of the area and its inhabitants.<\/p>\n
