Designed when the great architect was over 90 years old and it is one of the 14 circular houses that he designed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Circular Solar House was designed in 1959 for Norman Lykes (the name by which the house is also known), built in 1967 by John Rattenbury. and renovated in 1994, It is located at the top of a Palm Canyon hill, on the outskirts of Phoenix. This modernist and avant-garde style house is made up of two concentric circles in the shape of a shell. It is surrounded by a beautiful landscape and offers a spectacular view of Phoenix. The property has 287 m2 built and consists of three bedrooms (originally there were five), three bathrooms, a study, a library and a circular pool. Furniture was custom made.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/propertyjournal.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/circular-sunhouse-property-journal1.jpg\" alt=\"circular-sunhouse\" class=\"wp-image-3468\" width=\"510\" height=\"288\" srcset=\"https:\/\/propertyjournal.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/circular-sunhouse-property-journal1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/propertyjournal.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/circular-sunhouse-property-journal1-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>It must be remembered that Frank Lloyd Wright, the great American architect, designed more than 1,000 structures, 532 of which were completd.
