According to Christian Salvador Preciado C\u00e1zares, \"we're achieving unprecedented milestones, from the increase in air traffic to the record-breaking influx of cruises and the growing popularity of our ecotourism excursions.\" Over 500,000 people have enjoyed the wonders of Puerto Vallarta, contributing to the sense of security and satisfaction that characterizes this city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The numbers support this, with over 5 million visitors in 2023, a remarkable increase of 3.9%. The economic impact of tourism reached an astonishing 64,472 million pesos by October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This surge is not isolated; the entire state of Jalisco experienced a 6% increase in tourist influx. Puerto Vallarta leads with 33,997 million pesos in economic spill, closely followed by Guadalajara with a total of 24,950 million. By October, tourist influx in Jalisco reached an impressive 28 million 373 thousand visitors, marking a significant 12% increase compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hotel occupancy has also reached unprecedented levels in Puerto Vallarta, registering a robust 78.5% in the last week, placing it at the forefront nationally. Additionally, the flow of international cruises has been a key factor in the region's tourism boom, with the arrival of 142 cruises in 2023, carrying 456,435 passengers. This figure represents a 50% increase compared to the previous year when 305,106 tourists arrived by sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puerto Vallarta's appeal is not only reflected in occupancy and economic impact but also in environmental conservation. Initiatives to protect 8,163 hectares of forests, jungles, and mangroves in Jalisco have been endorsed, showcasing the destination's commitment to ecology.<\/p>\n\n\n
