Singer and beauty mogul Rihanna has put her penthouse in the exclusive Century building in Los Angeles on the market for $25 million.
The property, which once belonged to actor Matthew Perry of "Friends," has been Rihanna's home since April 2023, but it seems the singer is already looking for new horizons.
A dream space in the heights
Located on the 40th floor of the building, the penthouse offers stunning views of the city, the Pacific Ocean, and the San Gabriel Mountains. With 9,290 square feet of living space, the property features four bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a living room with fireplace, a billiards room, a movie theater, a private elevator, and four terraces, creating an oasis of luxury and exclusivity in the heart of Los Angeles.
A history of luxury and celebrities
The penthouse was originally listed for sale by Matthew Perry in 2019 for $35 million. After failing to find a buyer, the property was sold in 2021 to Afterpay co-founder Nick Molnar for $21.6 million. A year later, Rihanna acquired the penthouse for the same amount.
Reasons for the sale still unknown
The reasons why Rihanna has decided to sell the penthouse are still unknown. Some speculate that the singer, who just had her second child with rapper A$AP Rocky, is looking for a more family-friendly space. Otros creen que la mudanza podría estar relacionada con sus planes de expansión de su imperio empresarial Fenty Beauty and Fenty Savage.
Whatever the reason, the sale of Rihanna's penthouse marks the end of an era in Los Angeles for one of the most iconic artists of our time.
