Nautical tourism grows in the region

Currently, nautical tourism in Mexico is becoming increasingly relevant and interesting within the sector and the hospitality division of Mexico and the region, which includes Marina Vallarta, Marina Riviera Nayarit, Marina Nuevo Vallarta, Marina Paradisse Village, Butique Marina Nautical Village, Marina Fonatur San Blas.

The above is followed by the trend of the new traveler looking for different, unique and unrepeatable experiences.

“THEY FIND RECREATIONAL OR SPORTS PURPOSES IN NAVIGATION, THAN ONE MORE OPTION TO START UP OR COMPLEMENT A HOLIDAY”.

This activity has great appeal among sailors, mainly foreigners who like to do sport fishing or simply recreation in places such as:

Las Animas
The cobeteña
Mita’s tip
North of Riviera Nayarit
South of Puerto Vallarta

In terms of sport fishing and yacht trips, these activities were considered for retired people, however, today young people are the ones who seek to perform these exercises.

Nautical tourism in Mexico brings strong investments

Due to the increase in nautical tourism, strong investments have been observed in marinas where just over 10,000 boats are received annually.

The foregoing, according to the figures of the Association of Tourist Marinas (AMMT) with 32 marinas operating in the national territory representing 70% of investment in the sector.

“The latest far-reaching initiative to promote nautical tourism through greater regional infrastructure and equipment for recreational and sports navigation.”

Giving a sustainable regional tourism development approach, with the Blug Flag marinas.

Yacht supply grows

The American market continues to grow in nautical tourism, and yacht manufacturing companies continue to incorporate new models to their offer.

However, the number of moorings or slip positions on the coasts of the United States, still does not achieve the balance of growth.

And that on the coasts of Mexico they offer a viable alternative for these vessels to find their home in Mexican destinations in the Pacific or even the Caribbean.

“This condition presents opportunities for mixed-use projects around the marina to combine, in addition to nautical services, spaces for recreation and leisure, housing, lodging and commercial areas.”
