Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, founders of Dolce & Gabbana in 1985, now venture into the world of Real Estate in Sierra Blanca, Marbella.

Dolce & Gabbana are known for their bold and provocative designs, often drawing inspiration from their Italian heritage and traditional Sicilian styles. Their designs have been worn by celebrities, royalty and fashion icons cementing their status as leaders in the industry. The brand has specialized in clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, sunglasses and accessories, as well as lines of children’s clothing, fragrances and sportswear.

¿Dolce & Gabbana in Real Estate?

Over the years Dolce & Gabbana has also invested in various real estate companies, building up a personal estate of their own for their use and enjoyment: it has been involved in the renovation and restoration of various historic properties in Italy, including a 14th-century palace in Venice. and a 19th century villa in Sicily. They also own various luxury apartments and villas in various locations around the world.

But now, in partnership with Sierra Blanca Estates, an agency specializing in the luxury segment in Marbella, the Italians have decided to venture fully into the real estate business, putting 60 luxury residences on the market in Marbella, Spain. They will apply the same scheme in Miami and the Maldives with the same real estate group. Sierra Blanca Estates already sells luxury homes linked to international brands such as Fendi or Lagerfeld.

The project under the Dolce & Gabbana brand goes beyond the classic concept of residence: the complex covers an area of 90,000 square meters in the area known as Marbella’s Golden Mile. “There will be 60 units of different types spread over five buildings that will not exceed four or five floors. Some of these residences will give a lot to talk about, among other things, due to their dimensions, larger than some villas.” The residential complex will be ready in 2025, it will have panoramic views of the sea, the golf courses and Gibraltar, and there will be a “spa, gym, indoor and outdoor sports areas… and services available to buyers such as cleaning, dry cleaning, chef at home…”.

Sierra Blanca Estates is uniquely positioned to bring this vision to life and offer a comprehensive lifestyle experience that uniquely interprets the Italian spirit of Dolce & Gabbana, the developer said.

One of the strong points of the project is the development of a Rodeo Drive-type commercial space in which Dolce & Gabbana have been especially interested given the commercial experience in that market that they have had in the last 30 years. The initial investment was set at 300 million dollars but after the incorporation of the Italian designers this figure will increase significantly.

At the moment, the real estate company still does not have images of the project, but great expectations have already been aroused within the high-end international real estate market, which are the usual clients of the flagship brand of Italian style and luxury.
