La Cruz de Huanacaxtle has evolved over the past two decades from a quiet, character-rich fishing village into one of Banderas Bay’s most distinctive coastal communities. Long appreciated by sailors for its protected anchorage, welcoming beach, and warm local spirit, La Cruz began a major transformation with the announcement of Marina Riviera Nayarit in 2006 and the delivery of nearly 500 new homes by Tierra y Armonía around 2010.
Like many real estate markets, La Cruz has grown in cycles.
