During the last few years, Riviera Nayarit has attracted the attention of travelers and tourists who seek to explore the marvelous beaches of the Pacific as well as the first class hotel services that are offered. Proof of this is that, since December of last year, the occupation has been above 80%, which has allowed the destination an invaluable recovery after covid-19.
The reality is that this is not surprising because Riviera Nayarit has the highest level hotel infrastructure for all types of trips and tourists. If you want to travel surrounded by luxury and comfort, there is Punta Mita; If what you are looking for is a relaxed atmosphere but with a boho-chic vibe, the option is Sayulita; If what you want is to enjoy the beaches and enjoy the comfort of an all inclusive, Nuevo Vallarta is for you; If you would like a wellness retreat there are San Pancho or Chacala. This is how there is a wide variety of options depending on the type of trip you are looking for and the budget you have set aside for it.
For all this and more, Riviera Nayarit was included in ‘The 50 destinations to explore in 2022’ by Time magazine. The publication commented that for the selection of destinations the criteria was based on those that offer “new and exciting experiences”.
In the Time publication it is mentioned that in addition to the 23 beach towns to explore in the area, the most anticipated attraction is the Islas Marías Biosphere Reserve, “four islands off the coast of Nayarit that once housed a prison, which have been transformed into a UNESCO protected area which will open this summer. A host of luxury hotels (upcoming and recently opened) invite travelers to experience this hidden region.”
