La Versalles is a traditional Puerto Vallarta neighborhood that is emerging as one of the best places to live and visit, in one of the areas with the highest capital gains in the city.
There the typical businesses coexist with another style of more refined restaurants, craft breweries or signature cafeterias that have multiplied vertiginously in recent years, with a very good gastronomic option for locals and tourists.
These businesses have attracted a young and alternative population, who were already aware of the potential in this neighborhood because of its safety, good communications and, best of all, lower living prices than in other renowned areas.
Located between two of the most important avenues in the city, Francisco Medina Ascencio and Francisco Villa, one of the best features of this neighborhood is that it is very close to everything, residential areas are close to shops and malls like Sam’s, Walmart and Costco, hospitals and schools.
La Versalles community is also worth mentioning, they have been there all their lives and others settled therein the 90s, when the first apartment buildings were built, inhabited mainly by hotel executives.
Different groups looking to maintain the essence of the neighborhood have been created over the years, one of them being “La Versalles collective”, made up of restaurateurs who share quality gastronomic proposals with the aim of creating a recognizable gastro-cultural place, promoting local consumption and reactivating the commercial chain. Also La Versalles Market project was launched recently, a new commercial space with food, drinks, art, organic products and music, which also encourages entrepreneurship.
Versailles is experiencing a real estate boom that is changing much of its essence, for the better as is almost always the case when an area becomes trendy. Condominium towers have been added to the traditional apartment buildings in a modern and minimalist style, friendly to the environment and generally being occupied by professional, young married couples with high incomes and no children, but with pets.
